NEC Pick 'em Week 9

CCSU @ RMU = If they are going to right the ship, now is the time. I think they do it. Going to have to score though as I think CCSU will be able to get some points on our stingy D. Carroll has 175 passing, and we get our first 100 yard rusher. Colonials 28 Devils 21
Bryant @ Duquesne - From watching the Duq SFU game last week, I would have thought Duq was going to win. I did not check stats but I would guess they probably lead most of them. I think they win this one without a lot of trouble. Duqs 35 Dogs 10
Saint Francis @ Sacred Heart - Long trip for the Flash, but if they win this one, they would certainly have to be big favorites for the playoffs. Frankies 27 Pios 24
Wagner @ Umass - Would be interesting to know how much money Wagner is getting for a pain and heartache with multiple FBS games. Umass isn't a great team, but they will be plenty enough for Wags. MM 45 Hawks 10

RMU over CCSU, I think this is the week we finally get our first conference win. We lost 2 of our first 3 conferene games by 1 possession and I dont feel CCSU is on the same level as the last 3 teams. Factor in the long ride to Moon Township and i think we win this one.

Duquesne over Bryant, might be close for the first half but I think duquesne opens it up in the 3rd quarter

Sacred Heart over Saint Francis, SHU pulls off the upset at home and makes the race for the conference title a mess

UMass over Wagner, I think once Wagner will keep it close for half the game then UMass will open it up

CCSU @ RMU: What a tough pick this week. Both teams coming into this game with a 4 game losing streak. One team will be alone in the basement. One thing CCSU has that RMU doesn't is the same QB that has played in all their games. Dolegala is having a tremendous season for CCSU, completing 158-of-262 passes for 1,744 yards and 10 touchdowns. CCSU's D is blah - RMU's O is blah. And two head coaches perhaps on the hot seat per the fans.
RMU is 0-2-1 when playing games on October 29th.
14-13

Bryant @ Duquesne: Long road trip for the Bulldogs against a pissed off Dukes team that now needs help to secure another NEC title. Perhaps that SFU lost will get this team focused. Dukes finally show their potential. 34-13

Saint Francis @ Sacred Heart: The all-time series is tied 10-10 between the programs with SFU winning last four meetings. SFU has the pass rush to get to Noel and bring him down without him dancing around the pocket. SFU escapes with the win behind their rushing attacked and their D.
21-20

Wagner @ Umass: Another FBS game for Wagner. Good for them stepping up and taking the money. They are quietly building something up there in NY and could be the surprise team to bolt from the NEC first. 38-20

CCSU @ RMU...Fire up the cannon it's time to wear your earplugs this week as the boys in blue will light up the scoreboard.
Bryant @ Duquesne...Dukes win this contest at home because they are not happy about their last outing and need a dog to kick. It's not pretty as this could get the Dukes arrested for animal abuse.
Saint Francis @ Sacred Heart...SFU isn't a curtious guest and makes a mess in The chapel and then leaves shortly after. SFU wins big in the battle of the monks.
Wagner @ Umass...The Minutemen aren't gracious host they have Wagner over to thier house pay them a couple bucks for stopping by, but beat them up and kick them out for a short trip back home. UMASS Wins!
