The anticipated additional cost for NDSU will be up to $3,400 per full scholarship. This initiative will be funded exclusively through private donations. The athletics department has secured lead gifts from several donors that will provide a matching funds program for the first three years of implementation.

Very interesting topic. This will easily separate teams within the FCS.

Wow, that is interesting. Bigger gap between NEC and the larger schools. Also allows the schools like NDSU to be able to better compete with FBS schools. I am sure most of there guys had at least a few FBS offers.

Also adds to what it will take financially for RMU to compete if they do move conferences. That's a significant amount of additional money that would need to be funded. Would be interesting to know which each coast FCS schools offer full cost of attendance.

This is recruiting class #2 under FCOA and it's paid off grabbing recruits from MAC, MWC, and even B1G and B12 schools

NDSU is paying it in All sports not just top teams like some other schools
