Dayton QB out 5-6 weeks

Bad News for Dayton...good news for RMU. Never want to see someone get hurt but this will help RMU in their home opener.

I will say that if Dayton wins, it has to be considered a big upset now.
This is a game RMU should win.

It is a tough blow for them. I would assume they have a capable backup, but there is a reason he is a backup.

That kid is pretty darn good QB, I am sure Farrison will have some blitzes drawn up to put their replacement under pressure early.

Oringinal_RMC I cannot remember the last time RMU beat Dayton. The few times RMU (RMC) beat Dayton were more in your era than the current era. I feel confident that the Colonials have a reasonable chance of beating the Flyers this year, but LOL, if Dayton wins, I cannot imagine that anyone will consider it a "big upset."

Anyway, I agree, you never want to see a player get hurt, friend or foe. Unfortunately, injuries are part of the realities of the sport. RMU has been crushed by injuries in recent years. When I consider this year's team, I just think, stay healthy, stay healthy, stay healthy.

I think this is a big blow to Dayton, and definitely hands rmu the edge. Shockingly, knock on wood, these guys haven't suffered nearly as many big injuries this fall so far as previous seasons. No knee injuries, broken bones, things like that. Hopefully it stays like that

Daytons leads the all-time series, 17-2
The Colonials last win in the series was in 2000, 17-13, on the road.
