A common theme through five games is Robert Morris is almost always playing from behind. Consider the following:

Robert Morris has held a lead twice this season. Both times it was in the week two game at North Dakota. RMU held a 6-0 lead with 1:52 remaining in the first quarter until 6:18 left in the second quarter for a total of 11:26. In the third quarter, RMU lead 13-9 from 9:28 to 7:22 for a total of 2:06. That means, in five games, RMU has had a lead for 13:12... total.

RMU hasn't had a lead since that third quarter in week two, meaning they've trailed the past 202:22.

In an interview with Ram Owens early in the week he cited the team needed a fast start to give the team hope.I chatted with OL Jon Hill before his interview on Colonials Sportscenter last Thursday and he added the body language just gets ugly when the team falls behind.

A fast start could not only change the way a game is called strategically but will give a struggling team hope. It could make a world of difference.

As conference play begins, so does a new season! Boys can right a lot of wrongs with a win today! Go get them Colonials!
