Another OL verbal

Love it when we get our Big Uglies out of Southwestern PA and Ohio. It's just a breeding ground for big maulers and solid OL recruits. Richardson does a great job getting the commits from these guys when he gets them on campus. He closes well.
Adam was on campus for CCSU game and looked like him and his family really liked what they had seen. Congrats on another big commit. Had some FCS offers and heavy recruiting out of smaller FCS schools.

So I'm asking some of the old guard on this but with last year and this year have you guys seen RMU beating as many schools out of big recruits like you have the last two years:
They get a Juco this year that had the "U" and numerous other FBS offers then they beat other FCS schools for some commits from this year and last year beat out FBS teams in the MAC,(BG, Kent,Toledo,Buffalo...) Conference USA (ODU...) AAC waiting out Temple and Tulane
Is this that usual or are we seeing a swing in a tremendous way of better recruiting?

That's a great pickup, kid had an offer from bowling green state as well. 6'5" 301 lbs, definitely gonna help the depth on the OL. I would still like to see a couple more OL come in, as well as a taller reciever and another running back. Also, Harrison dreher will be playing next season. Clearinghouse didn't declare him eligible this fall but he will play next year

BIG get for the Colonials, was one of the lineman I highlighted in the OL preview. Kid has a very nice tape. Shows alot of positives on film. Will need to get comfortable in pass sets but other than that very nice pick up for Coach Rich and the Colonials.

M4Fam to answer your question, I can not remember a time when RMU / RMC was beating these bigger schools out for recruits. Just shows you how well this staff identify talent and stays on them. This class is shaping up like the last two, just need to see some development

Agree that the recruiting is getting up there in terms of competing and getting kids to come to RMU over other schools. The issue was been retaining the talent each season and developing them.
