I tried my best to be optimistic prior to the game, but the reality is, RMU's defense is playing like crap. They are incredibly soft in the low post and get out-rebounded every game. Tate and Joe Hugley can't get back on the court soon enough, both should help in the rebounding department. Toole talked about good possessions and how a couple of bad ones can make or break a game...RMU had plenty of chances down the stretch to tie it up, but settled for poor shot selections on the offensive end of the ball. Does Toole still thin Hugley will play this season? Listening to CTC's podcast now and they don't know if he'll see the court this year and thought that he possibly could get Redshirted... In a way, it wouldn't be bad since they have so many people in this freshman class and it's very big. But, on the other hand, maybe this dude could be a game changer for RMU. He has a decent 3 point shot and had 88 blocks last year in high school (3.5 blocks a game)...

Getting Tate back soon would be nice too... He's a force down low.

In my opinion, giving up 65 pts to Youngstown St. Wasn't the problem.
It was the offense not even getting over 60!! With the new rules, offense is supposed to be easier.

Still is a guy that NEEDS to drive the lane. Maybe it's a bigger role than he wants in his freshman year but... He can do it!! Also, Minnie and Pryor need to pump fake 3's and create offense. Minnie did this so well versus New Mexico State and he needs to do it more often, like every game.
