Today was apparently the day for all players to report, though it sounds like a lot of them were already on campus. So we should start to hear some news in the next few days.

It's pretty tough for me to get to campus for anything, but hopefully some people are able to check out camp and see how the team looks.

Yeah I need to make it on campus to check out the team and finally meet the coaches.

No idea what's going on. We're roughly a week in and still don't have a roster. I get not having photos of the new guys up yet. Most smaller schools don't. But Duquesne has a full roster up with numbers for the freshmen and everything.

All we have is a couple tweets from the football account.

Seems like we should expect a new roster up by next week. Sounds like guys are guys are busting their tails.

Agreed Irish, would love to hear who is getting 1st reps at qb? Anything you lse of note would be great

Awe man, I come in for my fix and there's nothing to put in the needle?!? LOL!! Go BobbyMO!! No news is .....

The camp has been really physical. Hasn't been this physical since Coach Hicks left.

I saw a video on one of the school twitter accounts showing Coach Clark participating in a tackling drill. Sounds like he's leading the charge on it being physical.

Any names stand out? Any idea on starters?

Looks like it was picture day today, hopefully roster up asap.

Also, to chime in with others, would love to hear is getting the 1st reps at every position.

Does this indicate that Jimmy Walker is the clear #1 at QB for now?

Okay, LOL, I guess that definitely answers my question.

New video is up. Get a little taste of Coach Clark's style.

I also kind of like that they're playing music during practice. Probably provides some energy, but it also may force guys to focus like they would have to during gameday when there's some crowd noise or music being played over the PA during timeouts.

Rotated both Caleb and Jimmy with ones on Saturday. Both looked good. Neither one separated themselves in my opinion as an obvious starter in that scrimmage. Both
see the field well. Caleb did throw an INT on the first drive on a 15yd curl. Both managed the offense well after that.
George Martin continues to grow and looks like he gets the new system really well. He looked really mobile and made solid decisions rolling out as well as in the pocket. He did drive for 2 scores I think, certain of 1.
They also switched all QBs in the red zone threw 3 straight TDs on 1st down plays between all QBs.

Thanks a lot M4. Great to hear with all. Like to hear regarding Martin and glad he is getting reps.

Wish roster would get put up ASAP!
Edit: can not imagine what the delay is. Rosters should not be some secert.

Definitely an Eric McAllister fan after watching this video

Some videos this morning posted on Instagram and here is what I could see for the offense.

LT - Trevor Hicks
LG - Looked like #79?
C - Eric McAllister
RG - Dylan Young
RT - Matt Fennell

Jimmy Walker at QB
#1 and #23 were in each video at RB, those numbers not on the old roster.

RMU just can't seem to update their roster online and seems to be a struggle each year.

Terence Stephens is #1 now. No idea about #23.

Nice little twist to the uniform revealed here, with a good message around it.

I have to say, Coach Clark sure says the right things. If he can get results on the field, RMU will have a winner.

At first glance, 23 is grad transfer running back from Albany.

Also, I did not see Travon Stott.

Assuming the positions are right on the roster, here's a quick breakdown:

QB - 3 (though former QBs Matt Barr and George Martin are listed at WR)
RB - 4
FB - 2
TE - 5
WR - 16
OL - 13
K/P - 5
LS - 2
DL - 8
LB - 8
DB - 17

Unless some guys have moved around, I'm concerned about the depth up front on defense. Maybe they'll use a 3-3-5?

I'm going to comb through the newcomers and also look at who isn't back (like Travon Stott) that was expected to return. But that might take a bit.

RMU BY CLASS
Seniors - 11
Juniors - 22
Sophomores - 21
Freshmen - 26

Notable early departures
RB Derek Albert
RB Nolan Burns
LB Devon DeFrances
DL Anthony Lang
DE Greg Rose
DT Abraham Scotland
LB Gee Stanley
DB Travon Stott
DL Justus Stubblefield
RB Malik Wells

We know about Terence Stephens, Caleb Lewis, and Steven Petrick, but there are a few other transfers who have arrived.

WR Kevin Brown - Originally from Plum, he was supposed to sign with RMU last year. But he never made it to the roster. Looks like he's good to go.

DL Cameron Darley, graduate student, Manning, SC - Spent past four years at UNC Charlotte. Played sparingly at LB/DE

WR Jerry Hanks, junior, Kansas City - post-signing day addition we noticed on the board. Spent two years at Dodge City junior college

DB Joshua Pinkston, senior, Burlinton County Institute of Technology - Couldn't find much about him

RB Kendall Rodgers, graduate student, Albany - Ran for 217 yards last year as Albany's No. 2 back. Played sparingly in the years prior

WR Eric Sherkel, sophomore, Moshannon Valley - Committed to Bowling Green in the same class as Terence Stephens but never officially joined the team.
