One of the three players the Colonials signed during the early signing period, Kam Farris apparently is enrolled this semester and practicing with the team. He has been on the Colonials' bench, in street clothes, during recent home games. Farris looks to be an excellent recruit for the Colonials. By being with the team this year, he should be ready to contribute early next season.
Apparently the Colonials have offered a PF, Chris Greene, who is currently playing at CCBC. Greene was at Wheeling for his freshman year. He's averaging 16 points and 8.3 rebounds on a very talented CCBC team. He also is 23-56 shooting 3-pointers.
Yazid Powell, another player at CCBC scored 81 points the other night in a lopsided win. I don't know if the Colonials are interested in him, but he may be someone to keep an eye on.
